Freak in the Sheets

Yes, you read the title right. But this one is for the wives (and husbands) only. And I don’t mean being married in the spirit. I’m talking to the ones who are legal eagle married in the natural. Again, this post does not apply to you if you are not legally married. I have to put the disclaimer out there because this one is going to get steamy.

Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge. (Hebrews 13:4)

When you become joined as husband and wife, your souls are restored to the original order that God intended. God created wives from the ribs of their husbands. It happened in the beginning of creation and still happens today. Your marriage is the physical representation of what happens in your spirit. People who dishonor that covenant will be judged by God in eternity.

In a marriage, sex is a beautiful thing. It is the physical act of sex that joins your spirits to your spouse until the end of time. The bonds that sex creates are only to be shared by husband and wife. Most people understand that part but where the areas start to get gray is what is permissible in the marriage bed. As the scripture says “the bed is undefiled”. What happens in the bed of husband and wife is ministry to the Lord.

For some reason, we think sex is only fun outside of marriage. But that is how satan has warped our since of reality. Married sex is the BEST sex. You are free from the heaviness that sin can cause, you don’t have to repent to God because married sex honors God, and you can rest assured that you are creating a legacy if any children are born from your act of sex.

I hear too many Christian women saying what they will not do with their husbands because it is “nasty”. Your husband paid the cost to be the boss by making you his wife, so he earned the right to enjoy your body. And you earned the right to enjoy his. Feel free to fulfill your fantasy with the man God specifically made you for.

You will notice that I keep referencing man and wife. Married sex is to be kept between the two people that God brought together. Keeping the marriage bed undefiled is why marriage is honorable. By bringing additional people into your marriage bed, you have dishonored God and your marriage. 

So, don’t use marriage as an excuse to engage in sex that threatens the purity of Gods design for your union. 

You can keep it spicy in the bedroom without shaming God.

I encourage all married women to evaluate your thoughts on how you can better serve God by pleasing your husband in ALL areas. Remember, what you do with your husband honors God!
