It's often said that beauty is as beauty does, so it too can be said that sexy is as sexy does. Webster's defines sexy as; excitingly appealing and glamorous. Initially this definition seemed very vague but there was something that stood out to me. Webster's definition never mentions or refers to sexy as being related to body parts or scantily clad outfits.

So what is glamorous/sexy? Glamorous is defined as full of glamor: beauty and attractive, especially in a lovely, delightful kind of way. Wow! I love that part!

So there you have it! What makes a woman sexy is more about what she hides rather than what she exposes. Her sexiness is NOT of a seducing, tempting or of a Jezebel like spirit!

Sexy is the woman that understands she has everything to flaunt but chooses not to because her sexiness is more about who she is and less about what body part she shows. She radiates a sexiness that speaks a language far more intriguing than breasts, hips and an apple bottom. Her sexiness appeals to more than the flesh eyes of a man, it appeals to his spirit's eye and the eyes of his heart. This sexiness allures a man that has good intentions. Intentions that cause him to look beyond a seasonal relationship with her and pursue a lifetime commitment with her. This kind of sexiness has longevity that lasts even when someone comes along with a bigger apple bottom and a dazzling smile.

I am so excited that God is raising up a remnant of women who understand that being sexy IS NOT offensive to God. He gave us our feminine traits and delightfully sexy characteristics. He made each of us different and gave each of us our own, unique sexiness. We are redefining SEXY one classy, confident, delightfully lovely woman at a time. I'm so happy to see women walking in the fullness of being a woman and embracing our complexities and our ability to exude a sexiness that pleases God and represents a kingdom mind set.

The enemy has sought to destroy the value and unparalleled beauty and worth of a woman by degrading us in music, reality television shows and movies. We must understand that the enemy is NOT a creator he can ONLY take what was created by God and attempt to pervert it and then use that perversion to warp our thinking so we begin to reject the very thing God intended to be good. We've been force fed the world's definition and example of sexy and the impact of that has slowly created a generation of little girls that believe stiletto heels and freak-um go get-em girl dresses make them sexy.

God is calling Women of God to redefine the beauty and sexiness of a woman! He's calling us to exude a sexiness that holds the attention of our husbands and cause them to love the essence of who we are, not just our body parts.

I believe God is calling Women of God to understand that just as sexiness is NOT about clothing, holiness and being a Woman of God is NOT about burlap gowns, flannel pajamas and "deep" nun like behaviors that leave husbands frustrated and bored with their wives and ultimately deceived by the world's in your face version of sexy. A Woman of God demonstrates to her husband on a daily basis that EVERYTHING he needs can be found in her. This husband's heart trusts in his wife's ability to keep him intrigued, he pursues the depth of her sexiness daily. She keeps him on his toes and on the edge of his seat wondering and desiring the delicious sexiness of his wife!!

The word of God says we can take back EVERYTHING the enemy stole from us, so that means we're taking and bringing a holy sexy back, redefining what sexy is and what it does, and in doing so, we will change a generation of women... and subsequently a generation of men!!
